Julian Sunde

I am a University of Queensland graduate with a Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in User Experience Design; and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in French and Japanese. Through my studies and work experience, I have gained valuable experience working in a team environment as well as a host of design, coding, and organisation skills. I consider my main strengths as a designer to be my aesthetic sensibility, my attention to detail, and my ability to incorporate feedback in my designs.

As a UX / UI designer, my main area of interest is desktop apps; however, I am also interested in working on mobile app and web design projects. I particularly value the importance of consistency and motion in software design. Consistency creates a familiar, polished experience across a range of products, while motion guides the eye and grounds an interaction in reality. My ultimate career goal is to work on larger design projects where I employ these principles at scale.
